Maria Sharapova kicks off her Wimbledon campaign with a first-round clash against Anastasia Rodionova as the women's singles draw is confirmed.

World number one Maria Sharapova will go head to head with Australia's Anastasia Rodionova in the first round of the women's singles at Wimbledon.

The Russian pro has been drawn a relatively easy tie to kick off her campaign at SW19, as her 30-year-old opponent has only managed to reach as far as the third round at the prestigious tournament, in 2010.

Kim Clijsters, who will compete in her last ever Wimbledon tournament, faces a tough test against former world number one Jelena Jankovic.

2008 Wimbledon champion Venus Williams will take on Elena Vesnina in the first round, while Caroline Wozniacki will play Tamira Paszek.

Meanwhile, British youngster Laura Robson will begin her Wimbledon campaign with a first-round battle against Francesa Schiavone.
