Sharapova admits tough Wimbledon task

Maria Sharapova has admitted that she faces a tough task in following up her recent French Open success with a Wimbledon triumph.

The Russian world number one, who won her first Roland Garros title earlier this month, is bidding to become the first woman since Serena Williams in 2002 to win the coveted Grand Slam double.

"I think it's the toughest back to back Grand Slam-wise, no doubt," said the 25-year-old. "Especially if you're coming off a French Open win or a final it's the toughest turnaround.

"As much as you want to celebrate and enjoy, you come here and it's like a whole new ball game."

Sharapova won her first and only Wimbledon title in 2004 as a 17-year-old.
