Radwanska "relaxed" for Wimbledon

World number four Agnieszka Radwanska has insisted that she is in "relaxed" mood ahead of next week's Wimbledon.

The Pole had failed to go beyond the quarter-finals at SW19 prior to last year, when she reached the final before being defeated by Serena Williams.

However, the 24-year-old has revealed that her run in London 12 months ago has given her more confidence this time around.

"I was really nervous before and also on court but now I know how it is and I will go on court feeling more relaxed than before," she is quoted as saying by the London Evening Standard.

"Everything around the final was a huge, huge thing and for me it was the biggest day. It was such a big difference from other finals I've played before and I think it doesn't matter if you win or lose a final it's just a great experience, one of the biggest experiences of my life."

Radwanska, from Krakow, did not play on grass until she turned 16 because of a lack of facilities in her hometown.
