Andy Murray though to second round at Wimbledon

Andy Murray has defeated Daniel Gimeno-Traver in four sets to reach the second round at Wimbledon.

After losing the first set 4-6, Murray rallied back 6-3 6-0 6-0 over the Spaniard, clinching victory with 15 games in a row and winning the final set in just 17 minutes of play.

Speaking afterwards, Murray said his opponent had "played very well" but insisted that he was calm throughout the match. "I did well to hang in at the end of the second set," he told the BBC. "Once I got ahead I relaxed a little bit."

Murray goes on to face either Slovenia's Blaz Kavcic or Tobias Kamke of Germany in round two.
