Jonathan Marray aims for Wimbledon doubles glory

Jonathan Marray aims to mark his debut on Centre Count at the age of 31 with victory in the Wimbledon men's doubles final.

Great Britian's Jonathan Marray will make his Centre Court debut on Saturday after he became the first Briton to make the Wimbledon men's doubles final in 52 years.

The 31-year-old, along with doubles partner Freddie Neilsen, caused a huge upset on Friday by defeating 11-time grand slam champions Mike and Bob Bryan, and now Marray is firmly focused on achieving his childhood dream.

Marray told the Harrow Observer: "Winning a trophy at Wimbledon is why I play tennis.

"That is what I dreamed of when I was growing up so for it to come true would be the pinnacle of my career."

Marray and Neilsen had only played three tournaments together before the start of the Wimbledon.
