Michaella Krajicek will miss Wimbledon after suffering from a viral illness.
Organisers confirmed on Wednesday that the Dutch world number 79 would not take part in the tournament because of the problem.
The 23-year-old reached the quarter-finals of the Grand Slam in 2007 before she was beaten by eventual runner-up Marion Bartoli.
The 135th Wimbledon Championships begin at the All England Club on Monday.
