Jo-Wilfried Tsonga doubtful for Wimbledon

Former semi-finalist Jo Wilfried Tsonga emerges as an injury doubt for Wimbledon after withdrawing from next week's Nottingham Open with an abdominal strain.

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga is facing a race against time to be fit for Wimbledon after continuing to suffer with an abdominal strain.

The former SW19 semi-finalist had been due to make his first appearance since Roland Garros at next week's Nottingham Open.

However, the Frenchman has been forced to withdraw from the tournament, casting doubt over his participation at Wimbledon which begins on June 29.

David Ferrer, Gilles Simon and Feliciano Lopez will all feature in the main draw at the East Midlands event.
