Lleyton Hewitt has insisted that he still has the motivation to succeed, despite his final Wimbledon ending in the first round.
The 34-year-old plans to retire after the Australian Open in January, and he waved goodbye to Wimbledon after an epic five-set defeat to Jarkko Nieminen, which finished 11-9 in the fifth.
Hewitt told BBC Sport: "That pretty much sums up my career. I'm fortunate that I have a lot of self motivation to go out there and get the most out of myself, whether it's in the gym or behind the scenes.
"I'm so fortunate. One of the greatest things about winning this Championship is becoming a member of it. For me to be able to go in the member's locker room four weeks before Wimbledon, in there with some of the older members, sit down and have a cup of tea and a chat, it's a lot of fun."
Hewitt won the title back in 2002.
