Lucy Shuker and Jordanne Whiley become the first all-British wheelchair tennis pair to reach a Wimbledon final.

Wheelchair duo Lucy Shuker and Jordanne Whiley became the first all-British pair to reach a Wimbledon final yesterday.

The duo defeated number two seeds Annick Sevenans and Sharon Walraven 7-6[5] 6-3 yesterday to reach the final.

Shuker, who has reached the final on two previous occasions with Australian Daniela di Toro, said: "It's my third final at Wimbledon but to reach it with a fellow Brit in Paralympic year is extra special.

"We were a bit tense to begin with but both started hitting well and we're here to win our first Grand Slam title in front of a home crowd."

Shuker and Whiley will face Dutch pair Jiske Griffioen and Aniek van Koot in Sunday's final at SW19.
