Dustin Brown: 'I had nothing to lose against Rafael Nadal'

World number 102 Dustin Brown reacts to his shock win over Rafael Nadal.

Dustin Brown said that he played as though he had "nothing to lose" during his shock 7-5 3-6 6-4 6-4 victory over Rafael Nadal at Wimbledon.

The world number 102 became only the second man to claim a 100% record over the Spaniard after upsetting the odds in the second round at SW19.

"Being with him on the court having won the last match made me feel more comfortable, and it's not easy but it's easy for me to play my game against someone like him because I have nothing to lose," he told BBC Sport.

Brown earned has $30,000 (£19,237) in winnings this year, but is now on course to rake in at least $76,000 (£48,735) from Wimbledon alone.
