Tipsarevic sees off Baker in New York

Janko Tipsarevic has strolled into the third round of the US Open after defeating American Brian Baker in straight sets.

The Serbian eight seed was clinical from the start and clinched the match 6-4 6-3 6-4.

He will now face either Grega Zemlja or Cedrik-Marcel Stebe in the next round.

Tipsarevic's previous best showing at Flushing Meadows was a quarter-final exit at the hands of eventual champion Novak Djokovic last year.
