Agnieszka Radwanska into fourth round

Agnieszka Radwanska has booked her spot in the fourth round of the US Open following a 6-4 7-6 victory over Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova.

The opening five games remained on serve, before each player recorded a break to leave the scores level at 4-4. It was Radwanska that secured another break at 5-4, however, allowing the Pole to move into a one-set lead.

The second set began with a break apiece, but both players served impressively from that moment as the set entered a tie-break.

It was Radwanska that came out on top, securing a place in the next round of the competition courtesy of a 7-1 score.
