Cibulkova 'to miss Olympics with leg injury'

Slovakia's Dominika Cibulkova has reportedly been forced to withdraw from the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro due to a leg injury.

The world number 11, who lost to Eugenie Bouchard in the second round of the Rogers Cup last week, is believed to have undergone an MRI scan.

According to reports in Slovakia, the examination found that Cibulkova has inflammation in her left leg and has been advised by doctors to rest for seven to 10 days.

The Games get underway in Brazil on Friday.
