Serena Williams survived a scare to overcome Garbine Muguruza in the last 16 of the Australian Open earlier today.

The world number one dropped the first set against her 24th-seeded opponent at the Rod Laver Arena, before coming through by a 2-6 6-3 6-2 scoreline.
