Williams too good for Dolonc

Top seed Serena Williams breezed through to the third round of the Australian Open with a straight sets victory against Vesna Dolonc.

The American made short work of Dolonc by putting her to the sword in just over an hour with a straight forward 6-1, 6-2 win.

Williams started on the front foot and raced into 3-0 lead in the first before being pegged back.

However, the five-time winner continued to dominate and eventually won the match in 63 minutes.
