Stanislas Wawrinka beats Sam Querrey in straight sets to reach the fourth round of the Australian Open, where he will meet world number one Novak Djokovic.

Stanislas Wawrinka has beaten Sam Querrey in straight sets to reach the fourth round of the Australian Open, where he will meet world number one Novak Djokovic.

The opening set went emphatically with serve, as neither player faced a single break point.

Wawrinka edged ahead by winning a hotly-contested tie-break 8-6 and the 15th seed then claimed set two with a solitary break of serve.

Both players traded breaks early in the third before Querrey's usually-dependable serve faltered once more at 4-5 down, as Wawrinka sealed a 7-6 7-5 6-4 victory by converting his fourth match point.
