Rafael Nadal cruises past Alex Kuznetsov

Rafael Nadal has cruised past Alex Kuznetsov into the second round of the Australian Open with a 6-4 6-1 6-1 victory.

The Spaniard got off to a good start by breaking in the first game of the first set before seeing it out comfortably 6-4.

Nadal broke again the first game of the second set before brushing aside the American 6-1.

The 2009 Australian Open winner sealed his straight-sets win with a 6-1 domination of the third set.
