Murray repeated the trick with a break in the opening game of the third before cruising home to complete a straight-sets win 6-2 6-2 6-3 in just under 90 minutes.

The Scot will play Lithuanian qualifier Ricardas Berankis in the third round after he upset 25th seed Florian Mayer earlier today.
