The 24-year-old lost the first set 7-5 to her Russian opponent, but romped through the following two sets to book her place in the fourth round.

A shock appeared to be on the cards when Pavlyuchenkova clinched the first set 7-5 after almost one hour of tennis.

However, Radwanska composed herself and won the second set 6-2 in 42 minutes, committing just four unforced errors compared to the 22-year-old's 17.

The Pole maintained her control in the third set and eventually wrapped it up 6-2 in 34 minutes.
