Fish cruises past Muller

Mardy Fish cruised through to the second round with a dominant win over Gilles Muller.

The American, rated at eighth in the world rankings, took the opening set 6-4.

Fish's dominance continued into the second set, as he comfortably beat Muller 6-4 again.

The third set included some bruising serves from Fish, for which Muller was unable to find an answer.

The set ended 6-2 and Fish goes into the second round with an impressive performance behind him.
