Victor Troicki admits that he 'missed tennis badly' during his one-year ban

Victor Troicki says that he missed tennis badly during his one-year ban, but says that he is playing as much as possible to get back to his best.

Serbian Victor Troicki has said that he is relishing being back on the court, after a one-year doping ban.

Troicki progressed to the Australian Open third round with a four-set victory against Leonardo Mayer, before he admitted that he missed the game during his exile.

"When you are forbidden to do something that you love, you start missing it a lot. You want to get back and be there again and be even better and prove to the world that you can be there again," he told reporters.

"I'm trying to use my chance, any match, any tournament. It's going well."

Troicki will next face Tomas Berdych.
