Murray's father-in-law collapses at Aus Open

Ana Ivanovic's third-round match at the Australian Open against Madison Keys has been indefinitely suspended after her coach Nigel Sears collapsed in the crowd.

Sears, who is Andy Murray's father-in-law, received medical attention after appearing to fall down some stairs at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne while Ivanovic was leading 6-4 1-0 in the third-round match.

The 58-year-old received medical attention in the crowd before being stretchered off and transported to hospital. He was reportedly conscious and talking to paramedics in the ambulance.

While play was suspended on Rod Laver, Sears's son-in-law Murray was playing unaware on Margaret Court Arena, with the score currently at one set apiece against Joao Sousa.

Murray's wife Kim Sears has remained in the UK during the tournament as she is expecting the birth of her first child, which is due in February.
