Nick Kyrgios feeling confident ahead of Andy Murray test

Nick Kyrgios says that he has taken "massive confidence" away from yesterday's five-set victory against Andreas Seppi ahead of his last-eight meeting with Andy Murray.

Australian teenager Nick Kyrgios has revealed that beating Andreas Seppi to advance into the quarter-finals of the Australian Open "was the best feeling ever".

The crowd favourite had to battle back from two sets down in yesterday's five-set marathon, eventually prevailing to set up a meeting with Andy Murray in the next round.

"It's crazy," Kyrgios told reporters. "When I saw I had finally won the match it was incredible - it was the best feeling I ever had. It's just massive confidence."

Kyrgios is the first Australian male player to reach the last eight of the tournament since Lleyton Hewitt in 2005.
