Result: Jo-Wilfried Tsonga through to ATP semi-finals

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga has beaten Rafael Nadal to the semi-finals of the ATP World Tour Finals with a three-sets victory in London.

In an evenly-matched first set, some effective backhands at the net saw Tsonga take the tie-break 7-2.

The second was similarly matched, but world number two Nadal found a break of serve to win it 6-4.

Tsonga broke the Spaniard early in the third to give himself the advantage before he broke twice more to successfully claim the set 6-3.
