British number one Cameron Norrie defeats Stefanos Tsitsipas in straight sets to reach the Mexican Open final, where he will meet Rafael Nadal.

British number one Cameron Norrie will do battle with Rafael Nadal in the final of the Mexican Open after seeing off Stefanos Tsitsipas in straight sets in the semi-finals.

The Indian Wells Masters champion took two of his three opportunities to break the Greek's serve and claimed a 6-4 6-4 win en route to the trophy match.

Norrie posted seven aces as well as a hugely impressive 92% win rate on his second serve, and the 26-year-old has now been rewarded with a final showdown against the most successful men's Grand Slam player in history.

"I was able to dictate play to his backhand and defend my forehand quite well," Norrie said during his on-court interview. "I definitely felt that better in the second set, and I think my game is pretty good in these conditions."

In a repeat of the Australian Open final, Nadal defeated world number one Daniil Medvedev 6-3 6-3 in their semi-final match and will now attempt to prevent Norrie winning his second ATP Tour title in the space of a month.
