Scotland lock Richie Gray is sidelined for the rest of the Six Nations with an arm injury.

Scotland lock Richie Gray has been ruled out for the remainder of the Six Nations with an arm injury.

The 25-year-old damaged tendons during his side's 26-23 defeat to Wales at Murrayfield on Saturday.

Glasgow Warriors second row Tim Swinson has been called up as a replacement for Gray, who is due to be sidelined for 12 weeks.

It was revealed yesterday that prop Jon Welsh was expected to sit out the rest of the tournament with a fractured hand.

Scotland continue their Six Nations campaign on February 28 when they entertain Italy.
