Richard Beaumont leaves Super League Grand Final winners St Helens without having played a game for the club.
St Helens have confirmed that Richard Beaumont has left the club without having made a senior appearance.
The 26-year-old signed a two-year contract at Langtree Park last year, but a groin injury has prevented him from turning out for the Grand Final winners.
As a result, it has now been decided that the two parties should part company with immediate effect.
"He leaves with our best wishes and good health for the rest of his career," read a short statement on the club's official website.
The Saints have also revealed that Sia Soliola, Willie Manu, Paul Clough, Gary Wheeler and Carl Forster will also be departing the club.
