London Broncos stun St Helens

A strong second-half performance seals a 21-14 win for London Broncos over St Helens.

A second-half comeback by London Broncos has helped the club to a 21-14 win over St Helens in the Super League.

After a quiet opening 10 minutes, the visitors opened up a 10-point advantage thanks to tries from Anthony Laffranchi and Adam Swift.

However, Swift sustained a leg injury during his try-scoring move, resulting in the 19-year-old being stretchered off just 20 minutes into the match.

Chris Bailey got the Broncos off the mark before half time, leaving the hosts just four points behind at the break.

The home side struck first in the second half, with Michael Robertson adding their second try of the game to give them a two-point lead.

Tommy Lee extended the advantage before a late penalty and drop goal helped seal the victory in the closing minutes of the game, moving London up to 12th in the table.
