St Helens duo Kyle Amor, Travis Burns receive bans

Kyle Amor and Travis Burns receive bans from the RFL following incidents in St Helens' win over Castleford Tigers.

Super League leaders St Helens have been hit by the news that Kyle Amor and Travis Burns have been given suspensions after unsavoury incidents in last weekend's victory over Castleford Tigers.

The Rugby Football League handed prop forward Amor, 27, a two-match ban for his tackle on Castleford full-back Jordan Tansey.

Thirty-one-year-old Burns was handed a one-match ban after being found guilty of a careless high tackle on winger Justin Carney.

The duo, who will now miss Friday's trip to face the Wakefield Wildcats, were both also fined £300.
