Steve Rapira to join Salford City Reds

Steve Rapira will play for Salford from next season after agreeing a two-year deal.

New Zealand utility forward Steve Rapira has agreed a deal to join Salford City Reds from next season.

Salford, who will be known as the Salford Red Devils next season, have given the New Zealand Warriors man a two-year deal.

"I'm looking forward to testing myself in England, getting myself right and playing football again," he told the club's official website.

"While I haven't played as much football as I would have liked here, I love it at this club. It's been a great experience."

Rapira has been with the Warriors since 2011.
