Rangi Chase on verge of Salford City Reds switch

Salford City Reds confirm that they are close to completing a move for Rangi Chase from Castleford Tigers.

Salford City Reds have confirmed that they have completed the paperwork to sign Rangi Chase from Castleford Tigers.

The Tigers recently revealed that the 27-year-old was on the verge of leaving the club.

The stand-off is likely to be presented as a Salford player in the coming weeks after having his application for a visa approved by the UK Border Agency.

The New Zealander has played over 80 games for Castleford since making his debut in 2009.
