Castleford Tigers lift a club ban imposed upon Super League's Man of Steel Rangi Chase.

Castleford Tigers have opted to remove a ban that they imposed on Rangi Chase last month.

The England international was handed the suspension by the Tigers for several breaches of club discipline.

However, following an internal investigation, the Yorkshire-based side have revealed that Chase can now resume his normal duties.

Rangi reacted to the news by expressing his regret at his recent actions.

"I would like to apologise to my teammates, coaching staff, the club and our fans for my behaviour on this occasion and am very sorry for any negative impact this may have had," he said in a statement.

Chase was voted Super League's Man of Steel last season.
