Queens Park Rangers "aware" of Loic Remy's 'rape' arrest

QPR "aware" of Remy allegations

Queens Park Rangers have acknowledged that striker Loic Remy has been arrested by police on suspicion of rape.

The Frenchman was taken in for questioning by the authorities at an address in Fulham this morning over allegations of rape from a 34-year-old woman.

A spokesperson from the West London outfit said: "The club is aware of the allegations regarding Loic Remy, but due to police investigations is unable to comment."

Remy's cousin and a friend have also been arrested on suspicion of the same offence.
