The opticians poked fun at the Belgium international, who was sent off during Chelsea's League Cup exit against the Swans for appearing to kick the 17-year-old when trying to retrieve the ball, which the teen laid on top of once it drifted out of play.

An advert in today's national newspapers displayed a photo of a ball boy with a cross next to it and a picture of a football accompanied by a green tick, with the slogan "Shoud've gone to Specsavers" written below.

Hazard apologised for the incident after the semi-final second-leg goalless draw.
