Arsenal's Mathieu Flamini banned from cutting shirt sleeves

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger bans Mathieu Flamini from cutting the sleeves of his match shirts.

Arsenal midfielder Mathieu Flamini has been banned from cutting the sleeves of his match shirts after doing so for a second time.

The Frenchman disobeyed the club's unwritten rule that all players should wear the same length sleeve as the captain by cutting his for last night's 2-0 win over Marseille in the Champions League.

When manager Arsene Wenger was asked to comment on it in his pre-match press conference, the Frenchman said: "I don't like that, it won't happen again."

Flamini did the same thing for the Gunners' 1-0 defeat to Manchester United on November 10.
