Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton make it an all-Mercedes front row for tomorrow's Spanish Grand Prix.

Nico Rosberg has secured a third successive pole position for Mercedes at the Spanish Grand Prix this afternoon.

The early pace in qualifying was set by Rosberg's teammate Lewis Hamilton, who finished fastest in Q2 by six-tenths from Sebastian Vettel.

Jenson Button continued a disappointing campaign after being knocked out in the second session, having to settle for 14th place on the grid.

Rosberg quickly set the pace in the final 10 minutes, edging Hamilton and Alonso as the first man to hit the 1:20 mark.

Vettel and Felipe Massa threatened late on but Rosberg went quicker still with his final lap, taking pole position with a time of 1:20.718.

Hamilton took second to complete an all-Mercedes front row, with Vettel third ahead of Kimi Raikkonen in fourth place.
