FIA 'won't investigate Mercedes' Nico Rosberg, Lewis Hamilton crash'

FIA 'won't investigate Mercedes collision'

The FIA reportedly have no plans to launch an investigation into Sunday's incident when Nico Rosberg collided with his Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton at the Belgian Grand Prix.

Hamilton was eventually forced to retire from the race after Rosberg caused a puncture to his teammate's rear tyre when he clipped him on the second lap.

The Brit has accused Rosberg of admitting to crashing into him on purpose to "prove a point".

According to Sky Sports News, the FIA deem the matter closed after stewards at Spa Francorchamps decided that the collision was a racing incident.

Rosberg, who has admitted that he regrets the incident, now has a 29-point lead over Hamilton in the Drivers' Championship.
