Lewis Hamilton has revealed that he is looking to the future following his failure to win the opening two races of the Formula 1 season.
The McLaren driver was on pole for both races, only to end up with a pair of third-place finishes.
Despite admitting that he should have more points, the 27-year-old believes that there are plenty of positives to build on.
"I should have 50 points, but I don't," said Hamilton. "Yeah, we would love to have 20 points more, but at least we've had consistency and we're there in the fight.
"We should be proud of ourselves. The team have done a fantastic job to get us where we are.
"We've been the quickest in qualifying in both races, so there are many positives to take, rather than looking at the negatives."
Hamilton is currently second in the standings behind Ferrari's Fernando Alonso.
