West Ham United fail in third bid for Wolverhampton Wanderers' Matt Jarvis

Wolves reject third Jarvis bid

Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly rejected a third bid from West Ham United for winger Matt Jarvis.

The newly-promoted Premier League side, who are awaiting news on their bid to take on the Olympic Stadium as their home ground, have been heavily linked with a move for the 26-year-old.

Reports emerged yesterday that the Hammers were prepared to launch a new bid for the winger, who dropped down to the Championship with Wolves at the end of last season, but it is believed to have been unsuccessful, according to Sky Sports News.

It is understood that West Ham have offered up to £5.5m for Jarvis but Wolves are thought to have refused to listen to any offers below £10m.
