Stale Solbakken admits that star duo Steven Fletcher and Matt Jarvis are likely to leave the club.

Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Stale Solbakken has admitted that star duo Steven Fletcher and Matt Jarvis will leave the club if their valuation is met.

Solbakken revealed that he has held talks with both and although he would like them both to stay, he knows he might lose the pair before the transfer window closes.

"I spoke to both of them yesterday and it's always like this when you have a contract and you have other possibilities," he told reporters.

"At the moment they're Wolverhampton players but there can be big fish out there who suddenly come in with a once-in-a-lifetime offer for them, and also a very good deal for the club. We have to make sure we're ready for that."

New boss Solbakken will begin Wolves' push for promotion away to Leeds United on August 18.
