Kenny Jackett unclear on Kevin Doyle future

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Kenny Jackett reveals that Crystal Palace will make the final decision on whether they wish to keep Kevin Doyle at Selhurst Park.

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Kenny Jackett has insisted that no decision has been made regarding the future of striker Kevin Doyle.

A groin injury has restricted Doyle to just four appearances during a loan spell with Crystal Palace, but with the Irishman nearing full fitness, Jackett believes that his future could depend on his performances during the next month.

The 52-year-old is quoted by the Express & Star as saying: "His loan is up in January and I'm sure that there will be talks before then. There hasn't been anything discussed or decided about his future.

"I think, with the injury, it's been a situation that has been put on hold but now with him going back there, I'm sure something will happen between now and the start of January. It very much depends on what Palace feel."

Doyle is out of favour at Molineux, with his last appearance for the club coming against Oldham Athletic on January 28.
