Craddock offered new Wolves deal

Wolverhampton Wanderers have offered veteran defender Jody Craddock a new one-year contract at the Championship club.

The deal would see the 36-year-old earn a testimonial after 10 years at the club, and chief executive Jez Moxey has paid tribute to the defender.

"He is a consummate professional who is - and always has been - a credit to Wolves and everything the club stands for," Moxey told the club's official website.

"In an ideal world you don't want to lose people like that, which is why, even if his playing opportunities may well be very limited next season, we have agreed to offer him a new deal which will take him to ten years' service."

Craddock joined Wolves from Sunderland in 2003.
