New Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Dean Saunders believes that the club can still win promotion this season if they find form quickly under his leadership.
Saunders took over at Molineux on Monday with Wolves down in 18th place, nine points off the Championship playoff spots.
The former Wales and Newcastle United assistant thinks that the only aim for Wolves should be to find a way back into the Premier League.
He told reporters: "I'm determined and ambitious. I want to get back into the Premier League. That's the brief. If we can string three or four wins together the table could start looking completely different.
"There's no reason why the team cannot climb up the league and get up the league. I have to change the mentality.
"It's like going to the best party you have ever been and wake up with the worst hangover. Wolves have got to get over the relegation from the Premier League. We have to get back to the party. That's where it is, in the Premier League. The longer we stay out of it, the more difficult it is."
Wolves begin life under Saunders with a game against Blackburn Rovers on Friday.
