Nuno Espirito Santo hails contribution of Wolverhampton Wanderers squad

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Nuno Espirito Santo says that each of his first-team squad have contributed to their impressive start to the season.

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Nuno Espirito Santo has refused to single out individuals after his side won each of their first three games in the Championship.

The West Midlands outfit have come in for widespread praise after registering victories over Middlesbrough, Derby County and Hull City in their first three games of the league campaign.

Record signing Ruben Neves has also hit the headlines for his wonder strike against Hull, but Nuno has stressed that each of his squad have played an important role.

The 43-year-old is quoted by the Express & Star as saying: "The goal was poetry but I've seen him score goals like this before.

"He helped the team, not only in that moment but during the game. Him and [Romain] Saiss, all the boys. We must congratulate the team. It's not about individuals.

"There were good goals from Jota and Nouha, a good save from John Ruddy, Ryan Bennett came off the bench and supported the team. This is what we're about, the team."

Second-placed Wolves face league leaders Cardiff City on Saturday afternoon as both clubs put their 100% record on the line.
