Team News: Wolverhampton Wanderers make four changes for Brighton & Hove Albion FA Cup tie

Wolves make four changes for Brighton tie in FA Cup

Wolverhampton Wanderers have made four changes for Wednesday's FA Cup fifth-round tie against Brighton & Hove Albion.

With this game coming three days after a hard-fought win over Sheffield United and three days before a trip to Newcastle United, Wolves boss Gary O'Neil was left with little choice but to tinker with his starting lineup.

However, he has opted to bring in just four fresh faces, with Craig Dawson, Nelson Semedo, Pablo Sarabia and Pedro Neto all dropping down to the substitutes' bench.

Uruguay international Santiago Bueno takes Dawson's spot in the back three, while Matt Doherty is included at right wing-back.

Tommy Doyle has been introduced to form what appears to be a central-midfield three, with Jean-Ricner Bellegarde providing support for Hwang-Hee chan in attack.

Roberto De Zerbi acknowledged at his pre-match press conference that he was facing numerous selection issues, not help by Billy Gilmour starting a three-match ban.

Tariq Lamptey and Evan Ferguson also drop out of the side, but Danny Welbeck has been passed fit to take his place among the replacements.

Pervis Estupinan, Jakub Moder, Australia Under-23 international Cameron Peupion and Ansu Fati have all been handed opportunities in the first XI.

There is also a change between the sticks with goalkeeper Jason Steele being recalled in place of Bart Verbruggen.

Wolverhampton Wanderers: Sa; Kilman, S. Bueno, Toti; Doherty, Gomes, Lemina, Doyle, Ait-Nouri; Bellegarde; Hwang

Subs: Bentley, Traore, Neto, Dawson, H. Bueno, Sarabia, Semedo, Chirewa, Fraser

Brighton & Hove Albion: Steele; Van Hecke, Dunk, Julio, Estupinan; Moder, Gross; Buonanotte, Peupion, Adingra; Fati

Subs: Verbruggen, Webster, Enciso, Lallana, Welbeck, Barco, Baleba, Offiah, Baker-Boaitey
