Wolfsburg sign Max Kruse from Borussia Monchengladbach on four-year deal

Wolfsburg complete the signing of Germany international Max Kruse on a four-year contract from Borussia Monchengladbach.

Wolfsburg have completed the signing of Germany international Max Kruse from Borussia Monchengladbach for an undisclosed fee.

The 27-year-old, who has made 11 appearances for the 2014 World Cup winners, has signed a four-year deal starting next season through until June 2019.

Wolfsburg director Klaus Allofs is quoted by Eurosport as saying: "We're very happy that Max Kruse decided on a switch to Wolfsburg.

"He is the type of forward that was missing from our squad and he increases the quality and variety of our attack."

Kruse, scorer of 11 goals for Monchengladbach this season, has previously played for Werder Bremen, St. Pauli and Freiburg.
