Team News: Memphis Depay, Guillermo Varela start for Manchester United

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has handed a recall to winger Memphis Depay for the club's Champions League clash against Wolfsburg.

The Dutch attacker has been drafted into the starting lineup for Morgan Schneiderlin in one of two changes to the side that began the match at home to West Ham United last weekend.

The other alteration sees Guillermo Varela given his first start for the club in place of Paddy McNair.

As for Wolfsburg, former Chelsea striker Andre Schurrle has been selected in attack, with Nicklas Bendtner only earning a spot among the substitutes.

The Bundesliga outfit will qualify for the last 16 if they avoid defeat, but United are likely to require a win to progress to the next stage.
