Roberto Martinez: Wigan an "easy touch" to refs

Roberto Martinez has said that Wigan Athletic are being targeted as an "easy touch" by referees.

The Latics boss was left furious when Totteham Hotspur's Benoit Assou-Ekotto was cleared of a studs-up challenge on Franco Di Santo during the teams' clash this week.

"There's too many times this season that we have been on the wrong end of big, big decisions," Martinez said.

"It gives the impression that we are an easy touch to referees."

Wigan are currently bottom of the Premier League.
