West Ham United reportedly make an approach for Colombia midfielder Carlos Sanchez, despite the player having already agreed terms with Bolton Wanderers.

West Ham United are reportedly attempting to steal Colombia midfielder Carlos Sanchez from right under the noses of Bolton Wanderers.

The 26-year-old, who is currently a free agent following his release by French side Valenciennes at the end of last season, agreed a contract with the Trotters on Monday.

However, Sanchez's move to the Reebok Stadium has not yet been finalised and Hammers boss Sam Allardyce has now offered the player a more lucrative deal, according to The Mirror.

Sanchez has been capped 25 times at senior international level.
