Bolton Wanderers have agreed a deal to sign Colombian international Carlos Sanchez on a free transfer.
The 26-year-old is currently out of contract after leaving French side Valenciennes at the end of last season.
The midfielder has earned the nickname 'The Rock' for his all-action style and has been courted by Reading during the close season.
The 25-cap international will hope to make his debut for the Trotters in their Championship opener against manager Owen Coyle's former club Burnley on August 18.
